Origins and vision
Founded in Paris in 2017 by Mélissa Artis, Waekura was created with a clear idea: to design jewelry that is both beautiful and easy to wear every day. The brand focuses on offering high-quality pieces that remain accessible, without compromising on durability or style.
Jewelry made for everyday life
From the beginning, Waekura has been built around a practical vision of jewelry. Instead of being reserved for special occasions, each piece is designed to be worn daily, without needing to be removed. The goal is simple: create jewelry that fits into real life, not the other way around.

A modern and versatile design approach
All collections are imagined in Paris, with a focus on modern, timeless designs that can be easily combined. Rings, necklaces, bracelets and earrings are made to be layered and worn together, allowing each person to build their own style over time.
Focus on quality and comfort
Quality and durability are central to the brand. Waekura jewelry is gold-plated with fine gold or made with palladium, and designed to be water-resistant and long-lasting. The pieces are also lightweight and often adjustable, making them comfortable and adaptable to different body types and everyday use.
Thoughtful production
The production process reflects the same attention to detail. Materials such as brass are sourced from different European and international workshops known for their expertise, then finished in France. The brand also works with recycled materials and aims to limit waste by reusing damaged pieces.
An independent brand
Beyond the product itself, Waekura remains a small and independent brand, where the creative direction, communication and visual identity are closely managed in-house. This allows for consistency and a direct connection with its community.
Today, Waekura continues to grow while staying true to its original vision: creating simple, durable and versatile jewelry that can be worn every day, in any situation.
